Warkworth Castle

Today we continued our local history topic investigating local castles by visiting Warkworth Castle. We were amazed by how well preserved the main building was and loved exploring all of it's winding corridors and stairs. We spent time noticing the key features that made this castle easy to defend against enemies and decided it would be pretty hard to attack.
