Hollys Hope Visit

We were honoured to welcome Holly's Hope into school recently as part of our VRU programme, delivering a powerful and thought-provoking session to our secondary students.

The visit was led by Micala, Holly's mum, alongside Holly's sister, who shared their deeply personal story to help educate young people about the devastating impact of knife crime. Their honesty and courage created a meaningful and respectful environment where students could truly engage with the reality behind the headlines.

The session was both impactful and moving. Students were encouraged to reflect on the consequences of their choices, the influence of peer pressure and the importance of making safe, positive decisions. Many students continued the discussions after the session, showing how impactful and powerful the message was.

At our school, we are committed to supporting students academically as well as their wellbeing and safety. Experiences like this play a crucial role in helping young people build awareness, empathy and resilience.

We would like to extend out sincere thanks to Micala for sharing her story, and to Holly's Hope for the vital work they continue to do in educating and protecting young people.
